Broadway's biggest Night, Tony Awards was visited the usual glamour and drama of  Celebrities wearing their looks, and designers. The 71st annual Tony Awards was held at Radio city music hall, the great white way on June 11, 2017. The red carpet lush, Flowery and Luxurious back drop was designed using about 200,000 beds of White roses by Raul Avila. Celebrities graced the red carpet in their best Style. Female Nigerian designer, Balogun Damilola, CEO, OTRABYBECCA Fashion Design Brand and debuted "Resplendence" collection on the runway at the African fashion week Nigeria (AFWN) held at the National Theatre, Lagos. The Creative Director of the brand is Oluwaseun Adebiyi. She describes "Resplendence as a collection designed for Sophisticated, Fashionable, Ritzy, and classy Nigerian woman. ". It was inspired by the successful design of her wedding gown influenced by past decade gypsy life, to achieve a look that is dreamy yet refined.  Models strutted the runway in sartorial designs featuring Classy Bridal gowns, Ball gowns and evening dress like a dreamy fairy tale dress, sophisticated and Classy. Resplendence features a fresh twist on ball gowns designs with hand embroidered appliques, floral lace ,catchy crystal needling and a mix of traditional-Contemporary structural details. The annual CFDA awards also know as the Oscars Award for the fashion Industry and Creatives was held on the 5th of June this year. The awards is to celebrate creativity in the fashion industry. Awards were given to creative desingers in varoius categories. Raf Simons,Chief Creative Officer for Calvin Klein won the double award for the designer of the year for both menwears and women wears. Laura Kim & Fernando Garcio designers of Monse won the Swarovski Award for emerging talent. Celebrities wore various glam looks on the redcarpet showcasing their fashion ante and creative styles in celebration of CFDA awards. Bella hadid stuns in Offwhite pink mini belted suit with blunt edge bobs setting a trend on styling bangs.  Lily Aldridge glam in beige dress embellished with Swarovski crystals. The day one African fashion week nigeria was wrapped with the trio brand DaViva, ABC wax and Swarovski treating with a Catwalk show of Satorial high fashion designs made from materials from these brand promoting the made in African Brand saving the best show for the last.  The Audience were enthralled by designs made from a mix of materials from these brands. The catwalk showase the richness of made in african materials as well as affordabilty. DaViva designers that showcased their couture include Nipo skin, Bi jelly couture, Zhukki Afro and Arewa while ABC wax designers are Maufechi, Modelia, House of Reggalia, Zizi Cardow and Asake Oge. The best designs are caputured in this post. I was enthralled by Nipo skin collection, my best being bedazzle mix Cape dress and jumpsuit. All the designs were exquisite satorial high fashion designs showcasing African fashion, Beauty and Creativity. T
