Stylish Runway Looks on Day 1 at GTbank Fashion weekend


After being accepted to attend the runway show at GTbank fashion weekend, I was in high spirit all week anticipating the show and a great opportunity to cheer on and support other creatives in the fashion industry.  Aside the runway, there was so much to feast my eyes on from the trendiest and stylish street style fashion, vendors of all kinds of foods and drinks mostly assorted barbecue and major fashion brands from clothing, make up , shoe, hats to Jewelries as well as master class sections. Did i Forget to mention the really beautiful couture outfit worn on mannequins made by amazing designers like Bibilawrence, Milemosun, etc.







I was filled with so much excitement and my belly was full of butterflies as i couldn't wait to see made in Nigeria Fashion houses and designers blow our minds with their well tailored designs on the run way.Designer Tracy Reese opened the runway show with her impeccable collections. What caught my eye were the glittering sequins dress, so in love with the Ankara trench coat, and the beige signature tassel earrings that which most of her models were adorned with.




Lanre Da Silva designs were just wow, From her mesmerizing sheer dresses with frill sleeves to signature hair bow that styled her collections. Her pieces were just everything. This post wouldn't be complete without touching on Mozambique Designer, Taibo Bacar Collections. Taibo Bacar whose career in fashion design was born from his family background in tailoring and fashion designing for his mom's customers.His collection featured Ready to wear evening dresses, silky dresses that flatters the feminine body. I really really love the all white palazzo pants and blazer styled with a cow girl hat. It was a Saturday well spent enjoying all the runway moment and the really amazing designers that show cased their pieces at Gtbank Fashion weekend.
